My journey
My name is Annette. I’m a quilter, over-thinker and a firm believer that some of life’s biggest knots are best untangled with a needle and thread.
My journey into the world of English Paper Piecing (EPP) started with a need for quiet. Like many of us I found myself navigating anxiety and my mind was constantly racing. The more the world moved the more anxious I felt.
Driven by Passion
I started Sew with Pieces because I realised that for many of us, the “quilt” is just the beautiful by product. The real work is what happens in our hearts and mind while we sit on a sofa, needle in hand.
My favourite quote is, “We sew the pieces together and in doing so, we sew ourselves back together, too”.
My wish for you is to find your own rhythm and peace one stitch at a time.
